To meet TDEC and EPA inventory requirements associated with latest revisions to the Lead And Copper Rule (LCR), SVUD is creating an inventory of the Service Line Materials in our service area and recording the location of any verified or potential lead and galvanized Service Lines. We have determined that all properties in our service area do NOT have any type of lead materials on the UTILITY side. We need YOUR assistance to help identify any potential lead and galvanized pipe materials that could be found on the PUBLIC side. We are asking that you take a brief Lead Service Line Material ( SLM) Survey to help us identify potential lead service lines within our service area.
Any locations with an UNKNOWN material type will receive a yearly letter discussing the dangers of Lead Plumbing in drinking water.
